Kory Kingery was born and raised in Blue Ridge, Texas, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Literary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2011. Kory went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas in 2014, and has represented Plaintiffs exclusively since becoming licensed to practice.
Kory believes that the practice of law necessarily involves being active in his community, and being at the forefront defending the rights of the disenfranchised is the central focus of his professional career. His involvement in the American Civil Liberties Union working on issues ranging from voting rights to freedom of speech is illustrative of his commitment to justice and his belief in the legal system’s ability to improve society. His work at R.E. Lopez & Associates allows him to put those beliefs into action by consistently achieving positive results for his clients.
Kory is married to his college sweetheart, Haila, and the two enjoy spending time with their Chihuahuas and annually attending the Indianapolis 500.
